German nanotechnology Diamond Protect protects the lenses of your glasses as well as the entire treated surface from fingerprints, dust, grease marks, abrasion and bacteria. These benefits are due to the unique surface that Diamond Protect builds. The approx. 100 nanometer thin protective layer that is formed is to compare with Tempered Glass, which is very hard, dirt- and water- repellent like Diamond Protect. We are talking about Nano because the coating is only about 100nm thick. This means that it is about 500 times thinner than a human hair. The liquid glass layer is only visible under an electron microscope.

You can use the Glasses Protection for all glasses and even for the visor of your helmet. Sunglasses, safety goggles, workstation goggles, ski and swimming goggles can be protected in this way. The lenses are more robust and less sensitive to scratches. Due to the highly water-repellent effect, the coating is, of course, very interesting for sports and swimming goggles, as the water drips off quickly and almost automatically. When applied to the visor of a helmet, the visibility is clearly improved even in heavy rain, as the water slides off the visor at low speeds.
